Ardbeg

Ardbeg is one of Scotland's most celebrated single malt distilleries, a cult brand with a global following built on uncompromising character and the unmistakable influence of Islay. Over an ongoing relationship spanning several annual releases, I've produced studio photography for Ardbeg in Glasgow, including campaign imagery for the Ten Years Old Cask Strength release, in close collaboration with creative agency Bright Signals and freelance art director Lidia Melero of Studio Melero.

The brief called for imagery that could hold its own against Ardbeg's fierce brand identity, dramatic and atmospheric, with a visual weight that reflects the intensity of the whisky. Working entirely in the studio, each shot was built from the ground up: carefully sourced props, textural surfaces and precise lighting to create still life compositions that feel elemental and considered rather than simply decorative.

The work was produced for use across print advertising, digital platforms, press and social media, and forms part of an ongoing creative relationship that deepens with each release.
