Ardbeg

Ardbeg is one of Scotland's most distinctive and celebrated single malt whisky distilleries, known for its intensely peaty character and fiercely loyal global following. Over an ongoing relationship spanning several annual releases, I've produced studio photography for Ardbeg in Glasgow — including campaign imagery for the Ten Years Old Cask Strength — working alongside a food stylist, creative agency Bright Signals and freelance art director Lidia Melero of Studio Melero.

The brief demanded imagery that felt as bold and uncompromising as the whisky itself — dark, atmospheric and deeply rooted in the character of Islay. Shot entirely in the studio, each image was built around carefully considered still life compositions, dramatic lighting and textural props to evoke the rugged, elemental quality of the Ardbeg brand. The resulting work was used across print advertising, digital platforms, social media and press.
